The cost of medications can cause a major strain on any family and it keeps getting harder to shop for Medicare plans to cover them. It is equally difficult for plan sponsors that offer Part D or PDPs to offer coverage and still turn a profit (why else would you be in that market). There are several factors that contribute to this problem including the cost of the products (drugs- lots of well known issues here) but the constant legislative changes are really what’s causing massive problems right now from year to year.
