Does money buy happiness? This is a great lesson that it does, if you are not an abnormally unhappy person. This “adversarial collaboration” between two professors indicates higher income generally does increase happiness, unless your chronically unhappy anyways. Also, I see people stuck on preserving their “nest egg” and not generating income, which was the unit of measure for the study. It’s income, not an untouchable ball of money. Reminds me of a famous catchphrase coined by James Carville.
