2027 Medicare Advantage increase

Earlier this year, CMS was targeting a 0.09% increase to reimbursement for advantage plans. That struck fear into the carriers who will bid for a higher reimbursement in light of all their new financial burdens and recent lackluster performance. Many carriers have scaled back benefits and plan offerings and this low reimbursement probably would’ve continued that trend.
